As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Pay

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$10.00 - $10.00 / hour

Stella 34 Trattoria is a modern Italian restaurant inside of Macy’s flagship store in New York. The restaurant features sixth-floor views of the Empire State Building, wood-burning ovens and serves lunch, dinner, brunch and drinks. It also features a Cibi Ronda, an Italian take-away counter, and the New York home to Italy's finest gelateria, Vivoli.

Responsibilities Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage ordersServe alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and proceduresAccurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guestsCollaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen and bar staffPerform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioningQualifications Experience in cash handling and credit card processingBeneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environmentNo high school diploma or GED requiredPhysical Requirements Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motionsAbility to maneuver between tables and around cornersAbility to lift, balance and move large food trays, weighing up to 30 poundsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-upAbility to stand or walk for the entire length of shift; may include walking up and down stairsShift Details
