The Omni Richmond Hotel is looking to hire a talented, outgoing, and reliable Server to join our Food and Beverage team. Responsibilities
General job duties include, but not limited to...
Completing restaurant and server station set-up and breakdown/side-work.Taking and fulfilling food and beverage orders per our guests' preferencesPerforming cashier functions accurately, such as closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork.Complying with Omni's standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operationsUsing our Omni "All In" app to promote employee recognitionBecoming proficient with the POS system, and its various functionBeing a team player by always being willing to assist other associates whenever possibleInteracting with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented mannerProviding information on the hotel's features and amenitiesPerforming any other duties as assigned by the F&B Supervisor and/or F&B Manager QualificationsThe basic qualifications are:
Positive "can-do" attitude, even under high-pressure, fast-paced situations Flexible availability, including weekends, nights, holidays, and periods of high demandPrevious experience as a Restaurant Service requiredExcellent customer-service, time-management, and communication skillsEffective problem-solving skills with the ability to respond and act quicklyWorking knowledge of food sanitation and food handling; ServSafe certified preferredUnderstanding of VA ABC laws and regulations; TIPS certified preferredAbility to fulfill the physical requirements of the position, such as standing for long periods of timeMust be 18 years or older* Omni Hotels & Resorts requires all candidates to complete a background check; Employment may be contingent on results of background check as applicable and permissible by law. *
