Overview of the role

As a Server, you will be at the heart of our fine dining operations, delivering memorable service that delights our guests. What you have 

1-2 Years experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is highly preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.

Ability to use technology, e.g., tablets, iPads, computers, and POS systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine dining service etiquette.

Ability to handle station and work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional hospitality or culinary training is a plus.

What you’ll do 

Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff in a timely manner.

Serve food and beverages in an elegant and efficient manner, adhering to fine dining standards.

Monitor and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience, ensuring satisfaction.

Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and poise, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.

Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, wine list, and seasonal offerings.

Upsell and suggest menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Provide accurate information about ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.

Work closely with other servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

Assist with table setups and resets and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

Support colleagues during busy shifts, including helping with food running and clearing tables.

Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.

Adhere to the restaurant’s policies, procedures, and appearance standards.

Ensure responsible alcohol service, checking identification and monitoring guest consumption.
