Overview Job Summary: The Server Assistant at Black Desert Resort is responsible for supporting the servers in providing exceptional dining service to guests. This role includes setting up tables, clearing dishes, refilling beverages, and ensuring a clean and organized dining area. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager and plays an essential role in maintaining a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. Job Specification: Location: Onsite at Black Desert Resort Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time Pay Range: $10.50/hour plus Tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. Job Responsibilities but not limited to: Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely manner. Set up tables with proper place settings, silverware, glassware, and napkins before guests are seated. Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between courses and after guests have finished. Refill water glasses, replenish bread or condiments, and attend to guest needs as directed by servers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces. Assist in delivering food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation. Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies regarding food service and hygiene. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service. Handle guest inquiries or special requests with professionalism and courtesy. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Food & Beverage Manager. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service. Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for guest satisfaction. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, carrying trays, and clearing tables. Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $10.50/Hr. - $10.50/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
