\nIn this role as a Server Assistant you will be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
\nThe ideal candidate will have food runner or bus person experience preferred. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware. Ability to understand and communicate in English to comprehend and respond to basic guest requests. Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices. Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs through a crowded room. Organized and effectively manages time. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to work a full shift (8 hours) walking and standing with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire if applicable to the position you are applying for.
\nWhat will I be doing?
\n\nTransports food items to and from purchasing area to kitchens in order to replenish items as needed to ensure consistency, freshness and rotation of products for the guest. \nQuickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed. \nMaintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments. \nWipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary. \nServe guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. \nAssist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction. \nTransport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.\nWhat are we looking for?

\nThe hourly rate is $21.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
