**Job Title: Server Engineer - Advanced Level** **Location: Baytown, TX (100% Onsite)** **Duration: 6+ Months** **Pay rate: $35- $40/hr on W2 (No C2C candidates please)** **Job Description:** An ideal candidate has strong infrastructure skills with a curiosity to understand how things work and how to make them better. A server background is vital to the team’s success and a willingness to provide end-to-end support during this modernization journey is expected. Your ability to understand the importance of the work conducted in these labs and communicate appropriately to other teams is vital to ensure we respond with proper urgency. **Responsibilities:** 1. Business interface 2. Create strong partnerships with lab techs, researchers, and engineering staff to understand their requirements and create solutions as needed. + Incident & change management + Work off a prioritized ADO backlog and respond to break/fix & enhancement requests (ServiceNow queue) as needed. + Plan, Implement and Coordinate Infrastructure changes, upgrades, outages + Server maintenance + Be available for quarterly server outages after business hours and occasional weekend outages. + Working knowledge of Windows Server 2013-2019+ File server administration (i.e., build servers) + Domain administration + Troubleshoot group policies + Data backup as a sysadmin (Commvault – **must have** ) + Security patch management (SCCM) + FTP servers (WinSCP and MoveIT) + Troubleshooting physical and virtual (VMWare) server issues on various hardware and OS + Antivirus administration (SentinelOne) + Hyper-V experience + Active Directory + Administer and maintain system accounts through Active Directory + Creating / deleting accounts + Granting Security Group access + Seeking Approval for Access Requests + Security & Controls + Annually review controls + Vigilantly operate with privileged IDs and tighten security policies + Support IT audits as needed + Remediate cyber security items + Automate/modernize processes + Document processes and cross-train team members as needed + Modernize inventory maintenance + Computers, Servers, Network Devices will be migrated to ServiceNow, but updates will be maintained by Team + Proactively identify and drive retirement of legacy hardware & OS + Facilitate integrations with enterprise/L4 solutions and cloud environments + Account creation + Password resets + Active directory maintenance + Folder access + Software installation + Update support documentation as needed + Procurement + Submit requests for hardware/software as part of annual planning & budgeting (P&B) ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
