We also offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits through one of the largest national carriers, Paid Time Off (PTO) that increases with tenure and has a generous rollover, 11 company paid Holidays, and 401(k) with immediate contribution. **Where you’ll work:** This is an onsite opportunity where you will report to the customer location in Port Hueneme, CA. **An average day:** As Server OS/Data Center Expert you will support a DoD-compliant data center environment by overseeing Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and network and storage solutions. You will integrate, secure, and maintain enterprise systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will design and deploy data center services, troubleshoot advanced infrastructure issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and participate in on-call after-hours support to maintain seamless operations. In this position you will: + Administer and maintain Windows Server 2019 platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. + Manage Microsoft services (WSUS, IIS, FTP, DNS, DFS, SCCM, SCOM), applying patches and optimizing configurations as needed. + Configure and oversee DNS, MS Clustering services, SAN storage, Terminal Services, TCP/IP, and LDAP. + Develop and apply Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in a domain environment to enforce security and configuration standards. + Implement and manage PKI, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and Office 365 services, supporting identity and access management. + Secure and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, following best practices for system hardening. + Utilize scripting (PowerShell, VB) and VMware virtualization to automate processes and streamline operations. + Administer and support Linux/Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, ensuring system performance, updates, and security compliance. + Leverage working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for basic database administration and performance monitoring. + Manage Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 Infrastructure + Design, integrate, and deploy IT solutions in support of a Data Center environment + Provide operational engineering support to enterprise-level solutions using virtual server hosting, backup solutions, off-site data replication and service level storage solutions. + Provision Virtual Machines and patches to the software and hardware hosting infrastructure. + Troubleshoot and resolve Host Based Security System (HBSS) server issues and outages (including ePO server, OS, and SQL), administer policy catalog management, coordinate ASI details and planning, maintain system patches (OS, SQL), manage automated tasks and database maintenance, and ensure HBSS STIG compliance. + Manage, configure, and maintain McAfee HIPS, DLP Endpoint products, and HBSS ePO, ensuring systems remain secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational and regulatory standards. + Participate in on-call after-hours support rotation, responding to support calls after hours/weekends/holidays/shutdowns. + Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed diagrams and SOPs as needed. **Basic Qualifications:** + As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions. + Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Windows Server technologies (e.g., Server 2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, PKI) and at least 5 years of Linux server experience (e.g., RHEL). + At least 5 years’ experience with VMware infrastructure and SAN/Blade Server architectures. + At least 5 years’ experience implementing DoD/DoN cybersecurity controls (IAVA, DISA STIGs, SRRs, ACAS), including HBSS implementations (ePO configuration, policy management, and monitoring of HBSS Fragmentary Orders) and compliance monitoring. + Must hold a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration Certification and Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows Server track). + Must hold a IAT Level II certification, CompTIA Security + Ce is the preferred certification + Strong proficiency with Microsoft services (WSUS, IIS, FTP, DNS, DFS, SCCM, SCOM), DNS configuration, MS clustering, SAN configuration, Terminal Services, TCP/IP, LDAP, Group Policy Objects, and Windows Server security administration. + Extensive knowledge of PKI, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and Office 365 suite; ability to leverage scripting (PowerShell, VB) and manage VMware environments. + Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration. + Experience supporting and troubleshooting HBSS servers (e.g., ePO administration, OS/SQL maintenance, patching, STIG compliance), as well as administering McAfee HIPS and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Proficient with fiber channel fabric/zoning/ logical unit number (LUN) management + Proficient with the Administration and deployment of NetApp and Rack Server architecture, or equivalent platform capabilities + HP 3PAR and cClass Blade architecture experience, or equivalent platform capabilities + Proficient with disaster recovery preparedness, execution and administration using policy-based backup applications **Other:** + Must have an active Interim Secret or Secret Clearance + May be required to perform duties outside of standard hours of operation in order to support mission requirements, including planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades. + Occasional Travel to other facility locations may be required **Physical Demands and Working Conditions:** Listed below are the physical or mental requirements necessary for the job's performance.
