We are seeking a meticulous and detailed Server Software QA Engineer to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our server software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, implementing, reviewing, and completing comprehensive test plans to identify software issues, improve software usability, and ensure alignment with quality standards. We're NOT hiring SWQA to just repro and validate software only, we're hiring the SWQA who can drive developers to make our software better. This role demands strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and strong ownership.

What you'll be doing:

Collaborate with software developers to ensure accurate validation and testing of software.

Reproduce and triage customer-reported issues to help developers identify root causes and facilitate resolution.

Analyze software quality and provide recommendations to improve reliability, usability, and overall performance.

Drive issue resolution by actively following up with developers and ensuring timely closure of identified problems.

Review and improve user manuals and troubleshooting guides to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability from the customer’s perspective.

What we need to see:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.

Proven experience with 2+ years customer support or software -hardware testing experience required

Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues a must.

Familiar with Linux

Extensive scripting using Python required.

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills and should be able to balance multiple projects independently.

Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
