This position plays a major role in the hotel’s Food & Beverage experience. The Spirit to Serve is a key element in a positive customer experience. A server must be friendly, courteous, professional, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, think/act quickly and effectively while maintaining self-composure. Schedule: We are currently seeking part-time availability to include both weekdays and weekends. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS + Serves multiple tables, as determined by management + Understands Room Service, Club Lounge, Banquet and Restaurant’s food and beverage menu + Takes and fills customer orders + Upsells alcohol and food items + Uses the computer to ring orders and guest checks + Interacts with all guests in a friendly/fast manner + Accepts different types of payments and makes accurate change + Maintains specific side-work and ensures the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant + Quickly clears and resets tables + Checks identification of guests to ensure legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.
