Job Description Summary
The Service Account Manager is responsible for creating and winning service sales opportunities that cuts across services contracts, on-demand services and products/solutions, working individually or where applicable act as part of a One GE Healthcare team to deliver value and solutions to customers.
This role is expected to lead sales opportunities, qualify customer needs, develop and present solution proposals and quotations, and respond to customers’ technical/process questions, so as to successfully execute and close sales. And also collaborate closely with the country equipment and channel teams to build relationship and manage short and long term enterprise business goals. Roles and Responsibilities
• Accountable for Annual achievement of multiple sales and revenue OP targets such as but not limited to Maintenance Service Agreement & On-Demand Services for assigned territory or modality • Provide input to deal pricing strategy and ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities.
• Manage install base and drive lifecycle management.
• Cultivating, leveraging, and developing long-term customer relationships.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities that satisfy customer needs.
• Track and communicate market trends to/from the field including competitor data and develop and lead effective counterstrategies.
• Present and discuss the technological and clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to customers.
• Differentiate offerings during the stages of the sales process, effectively using GEHC resources to actively support the customer through their decision-making process.
• Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of customer products and services.
• Prospect for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years selling experience OR an equivalent mix of education and selling experience.
• Previous experience in the Healthcare industry and/or commercial sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages.
• Excellent negotiation & closing skills.
• Strong presentation and relationship building skills.
• Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization and work well within a team.
• Must be comfortable with responsibilities requiring a mix of office and travel.
