Job Description

Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Customer Sales Representative is to grow the aftermarket sales through preventive maintenance agreements and various other service offerings. This will be achieved by closely working with a Sales Team and the Service department along with contacting existing customers and prospects in the market, actively promoting our service products.

Responsibilities:

Actively contact customers and prospects by phone, email and in person to promote the company and generate sales leads for the entire range of products and services offered.Prospect, establish, and actively manage customer relationships; achieving or surpassing sales targetsDevelop long-standing relationships with customers and prospects, by providing technical specialist advice, preparing and presenting commercial proposals to customers to meet their needs and nurture sales leads to maturation.Manage and develop account relationships to drive new preventive maintenance contract sales and secure existing contracts renewals; as well as identifying opportunities for repairs, upgrades, and/or other service offerings.Proactively generate, qualify, and pursue new client leads to generate revenue from new accounts within the target market.Use CRM tools to track all required KPIs (activities and opportunities) as well as manage the pipeline and provide activities report and sales forecast for management on monthly basis.Act as trusted advisor and provide technical expertise tailored to client needs.Enhance customer satisfaction to retain and renew current service agreements.Collaborate with various internal departments to address customer concerns effectively and pass on relevant leads.Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally.Develop understanding of industrial capital equipment solutions to effectively communicate product and services offeringsIn addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by their supervisor that are essentially related to their duties

Qualifications

Essential:

 Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related business fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service or similar disciplineProven competence in selling and ability to meet targets.Experienced negotiator, focused on value proposition, and customer attributes / priorities.Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident with both internal and external individuals at all levels.Hands-on approach to getting things done, with a desire to make a difference.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.Proven ability to position products and service offerings against competitors.Excellent presentation skills.Ability to maintain positive relationships with customers and team.High proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Bi, Visio, Access) and SharePoint.Must be able to occasionally travel (approx.5%) to customer sites as needed

Desirable:

 

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related business fieldExperience of working in a capital equipment / machinery manufacturing industryTechnical background and/or industrial application understandingExperience with Microsoft D365 F&O
