A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN RV SERVICE ADVISOR

As an RV Service Advisor you will be responsible for initiating services and repairs by ascertaining trailer performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records.

Serve as the communicator and liaison between the Guest and technician; ensuring the Guest’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the Guest.Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.Communicate additional repair and service needs to the Guest based on trailer inspection.Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying trailer repairs.Keeping Guests informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious relevant experience in an RV dealership or high-volume auto centerGeneral knowledge of recreational vehiclesValid driver's license and insurable driving recordAbility to pass a background checkProficient computer skills, including Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, and Outlook)Experience in sales of products and services

The salary range for this position is ($66,000 to $114,000). This position is also eligible for commissions on (Commissions –Ex: “Individual Sales and/or Individual Gross Profit”, “Department Net”) and/or bonus opportunities such as (Bonuses –Ex: “Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability”).

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
