Service & Parts Specialist
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Service & Parts Specialist to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while also managing and coordinating essential parts functions. This is a hybrid role with a focus on keeping our customers happy and our shop running smoothly.Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent requiredSecondary education not required, but a basic understanding of automotive systems and terminology is a plusStrong customer service and communication skills are essentialMust be able to learn and retain product knowledge quicklyHighly organized with excellent time-management skillsProficient in using computers and relevant software (e.g., POS systems, inventory management software)Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and interact with customers in a professional and friendly mannerAnswer customer inquiries regarding service needs, pricing, and vehicle issuesSchedule and confirm service appointmentsAssist customers with check-in and check-out proceduresWrite up repair orders accurately and efficientlyCommunicate effectively with customers regarding service progress and vehicle statusResolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionallyMaintain accurate inventory records for all parts in stockMonitor inventory levels and identify items that need to be reorderedPlace orders with parts suppliers and vendorsReceive and inspect incoming parts orders for accuracy and qualityAssist technicians in locating and retrieving necessary partsConduct regular stock checks to prevent overstocking or understockingEnsure accuracy through double-checking all incoming and outgoing parts, part invoices, and pricing modelsAdhere to all relevant safety protocols and compliance regulationsWork collaboratively with other members of the teamYou’ll be given the ability to:
Resolve customer complaints and questionsContribute to the efficient operation of the shopDevelop your skills and knowledge in both customer service and parts managementPotentially advance to a Service Advisor position with strong performance and dedication
