Identification of business development opportunities, with opportunities developed and progressed until the point of such opportunities becoming a commercial reality.
Strategic analysis and development of various markets, including but not limited to; mining, rail, oil and gas, and vehicle manufacturing.
Plan and undertake regular call patterns to existing customers to promote Howmet Fastening System’s products.
Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure the development of a platform that promotes sales on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.
Service and develop accounts according to sales targets through effective sales presentations, training, joint calls and utilisation of support services.
Develop and maintain customer relationships that result in commercial realities.
Implement new and innovative HFS products through detailed project management and marketing programs.
Proactive, planned and detailed sales marketing plans implemented for specified and generic markets and customers.
Provide recommendations and opportunities to the GM for incorporation into the organization’s sales and marketing strategy.
Translate field and customer interfacing knowledge into tangible information for incorporation into the organisation’s sales and marketing strategy.
Provide application and product knowledge to Customer Service and other relevant HFS Staff.
Provide an advisory service to other Howmet Staff in a timely manner
Adopt a role in the development and implementation of HFS Displays at Trade Show Events
Ensure a positive image of HFS is portrayed at Trade Shows with an appropriate range of HFS products clearly displayed and communicated to existing and potential customers
Utilise available resources, and maintain a database that captures potential contacts and opportunities for HFS Japan.
Identify, record and maintain a list of potential contacts and opportunities for HFS. Report on and address any barriers preventing such opportunities from translating into a commercial reality.
Undertake projects which have the capacity to translate into commercial and business development opportunities
Undertake projects, as identified, that provide an appropriate return on capital
Undertake other duties as directed by the GM.
Undertake activities, as directed, that contribute to the overall ability of HFS Japan to satisfy customer and internal requirements.
