DARCARS Mount Kisco is now hiring a Service BDC Representative
As the Service BDC Representative you will be the first point of contact for the service department and must represent the dealership in a professional, friendly manner at all times. The service BDC handles inbound and outbound calls, teleservice requests, recalls, special orders/parts.
Qualifications:
Must be able to speak clearly and pleasantly on the telephone and convey the image of professionalism and competence to callers and in-person customersStrong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employeesAbility to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus.Demonstrated commitment to customer serviceRequires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customersPrevious customer service experience preferred but not requiredRequires the ability to sit for long periods of timeBe able to work in a fast-paced environmentBe a team playerExcellent attention to detail Prior experience using Reynolds or Xtime a plus!Prior retail, sales, service BDC, receptionist, call center, or sales BDC experience preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule, evenings and weekendsMust have a valid driver’s license and acceptable safe driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)Must be at least eighteen years of ageMust be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
In this role, you'll:
Answer incoming service calls: schedule, re-schedule, and confirm service appointmentsMake outgoing calls: advise customers of open warranty recalls/campaigns, schedule future maintenance services, etc.Research product/service information using available resourcesProvide customers product/service information e.g. pricingField calls and escalate issues as appropriateCommunicate concerns to ASMs and Service Directors in a clear and effective mannerAnswer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate personEnter data into computer operated prospect tracking system; Xtime, ReynoldsCommunicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the time they are put on holdTake thorough messages indicating the caller’s first and last name, company name if applicable, the time, and the message the caller wishes to leave.Communicate messages to all appropriate parties in a timely mannerProvide basic information to callers who have general inquiriesPerform clerical duties assigned by controller or Service Manager
