Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective repair results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets. Each day, you will coordinate and manage plant equipment, personnel, and repair processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by driving continuous improvement culture and implementation of improvements to achieve service excellence.You will be mainly accountable for:Handling day-to-day operations and management of the repair center and service inventory control.Overseeing third-party logistics companies for shipping, receiving, and warehousing.Creating, implementing, and reviewing workshop operations strategy based on the overall service business strategy.Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer service experience in workshop activities.
Qualifications for the roleAssociate degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experienceexperience in relevant shop, manufacturing or fabrication environment.Experience In test and evaluation of power delivery equipment, using or supervising CNC equipment and managing a fabrication or manufacturing shop.Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectivesProven interpersonal and leadership skillsEffective communication and presentation skillsEffective problem identification, organizational solutions skillsStrong computer skills to include Outlook, Excel and WordCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
