Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic and experienced Service Centre Manager to lead our Eastern Creek site which is a new site transitioning to future automation. This role is perfect for someone with a passion and strong experience to deliver operational results through leading people and a proven track record in managing major projects in automation transformation.

Location: Eastern Creek, NSW
Reports to: Regional Operations Director, NSW

Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety Leadership: Responsible and accountable for occupational health and safety of employees, contractors and site visitors as per corporate and legislative requirements.Delivering results: Lead and inspire a team of 80+ people to ensure the site meets business objectives in safety, quality, productions and cost.People Leadership: Manage and develop the site leadership team to create a positive and diversified work culture. Ensure effective employee relations and a sound industrial relations culture. Take the lead in Enterprise Agreement negotiations.Continuous Improvement: Drive operational excellence and foster a continuous improvement culture. Ensure seamless implementation of best practices.Business planning: Collaborate with regional and national supply chain teams to create a 5-year site plan and budget to meet business future requirements.Strategic projects: Plan and manage major strategic projects to achieve the 3-year plan, including planning and managing for equipment upgrade and automation.Customer Focus: Act as the primary liaison between the site and other internal teams to meet customer demand and requirement.

A strong background in managing large teams and delivering results in a fast-paced industrial setting.Strategic Agility: See the bigger picture and align site operations to meet long-term business objectives.Driving for improvement: Strong experience in step changing the site performance with proven results.Project Management: Proven experience in leading major projects from planning through to successful execution.Financial Acumen: Strong background in business planning, budget management, and achieving financial targets.Conflict Management & Negotiation Skills: Solid experience in industrial relations, HR, and managing workplace disputes.Relevant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a related field are desirable, but experience and demonstrated results are key.Excellent Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skill at all levels.Proficient in Microsoft Office
