Responsibilities:
Handle incoming service calls, demonstrating a genuine curiosity to understand the root of each issueSchedule service, warranty calls, and installations as needed, aligning technician certifications with site requirementsCarefully review and approve technician timesheets for accuracy before processingCoordinate certifications and book training sessions for technicians as necessaryArrange travel accommodations and complete reimbursements for out-of-town assignmentsParticipate actively in weekly WIP and forecasting updates for the divisionAttend and contribute to all safety meetings and be available for after-hours access and calls as neededOpen and complete work orders, sourcing necessary materials and equipmentObtain PO or credit card information from customers prior to dispatching techniciansEnsure all necessary paperwork is distributed to technicians, parts departments, and warehouse staffMaintain communication with customers and technicians, providing timely updates on service statusReview field paperwork and complete entry of parts and job notes into open work ordersOther operational responsibilities as assigned by the Field Operations ManagerQualifications:
Outstanding customer service skills with a high degree of curiosity and problem-solving abilityExceptional communication and listening skills; always ready to clarify details until fully understoodStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks, handle stress effectively, and resolve conflicts diplomaticallyTech-savvy, with the ability to navigate relevant software and systems efficientlyCapable of working well within a team and independentlyPrevious experience in logistics, construction, or overhead doors is an asset
