“A Day in the Life”

As the Service Coordinator you will answer incoming calls with requests for operating instructions or service of equipment. You will prepare work order notices and schedule dispatch of Company’s in-house service technician. Recommend use of external contractors where needed. If you are a good fit, you will possess strong verbal and written skills and be adept in communicating with all levels within the company and within the customer’s organization.  The right person will conduct recurring routine tasks in a detailed and organized manner that affect cross department and functional success.  Able to multitask, a fast learner, and to be flexible in all situations are a must.

“What You’ll Do”

Answer incoming telephone calls from customers and politely and effectively works with customer to describe service requirement and schedule visit from service technician.Consider time sensitivity of requests to ensure customer satisfactionGenerate schedule for service technicianTroubleshoot some items via telephone and shares appropriate resources with customersProvide administrative support to service departmentAct as back up to Administrative Coordinator and Operations team with regards to phone coverage and service call tickets.As needed, conduct safety audits and maintain safety training documentationUp to 20% travel required – local travel to customer off-site locations on occasion/overnight rareMonday-Friday Day shift scheduleOther duties as assigned
