JOB SUMMARY
Service/Program coordinators assist with daily intake and referral processes to set clients up for services, coordinating their in-home care needs in compliance with Federal/State Regulations and Managed Care Organization (MCO) program rules.  They assist members and caregivers to ensure proper service utilization including accurate pay processing. Service coordinators are the primary individuals our members utilize when onboarding new caregivers through Self Directed Services. 

JOB DUTIESWork directly with a caseload of clients enrolled in Medicaid programsAssist in coordinating the onboarding of new caregivers per State Regulations, Managed Care Organization (MCO) program rules, and contract requirementsPromote cohesiveness in the office environmentAssist caregivers and members to ensure accurate payroll. This may include reviewing reports and previous time records.Support day-to-day operations and client advocacyAbility to meet position requirements while working within a hybrid work environmentCollaborate with stakeholders regarding the delivery of servicesEffective written and verbal communicatorComply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and proceduresDemonstrate dependabilityDemonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skillsExhibit computer efficiency with basic computer usage and independent troubleshooting. Handle complex service programs and special projectsMarket services to referral sources as neededMaintain necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflowParticipate in professional development and training activitiesPrioritize and multitask effectivelyProvide excellent customer service to our members, caregivers, and payersRepresent the company at stakeholder meetings, health fairs, and provider fairsEnroll clients and employees in services, web portal, and EVV systems as neededConduct necessary client assessments and home visits as requiredBilingual preferred in various locationsAnswer and make phone calls ( deleted calls) Attend in-person training and company meetings as neededParticipate in video conferences as needed to meet member and business needs. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONSSecondary education in any field preferredPrevious experience working with individuals with disabilities or the elderly preferredA combination of education and experience can be used to fulfill this role
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
