SERVICE DESK – IT / HEALTHCARE – Multiple Shifts Available – Full-Time & Part-Time –

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or a call center environment and be motivated to learn and grow into a more specialized healthcare IT support role.
✅ Previous experience in one or more of the following:
+ IT helpdesk or service desk support
+ Technical call center or customer service with a focus on troubleshooting
+ Desktop support, field support, or IT-related roles
+ Business analysis, project coordination, or software testing with an interest in IT
✅ Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills:
+ Ability to quickly learn new technologies
+ Experience supporting users with software, systems, or applications
+ Basic IT knowledge (MS Office, Windows-based systems, ticketing systems, etc.)
✅ Excellent communication skills:
+ Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to assist doctors, nurses, and clinicians with resolving technical issues
+ Customer-focused attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
✅ A natural problem solver:
+ Passionate about helping people and solving technical issues
+ Curious and resourceful in troubleshooting IT-related problems
+ Adaptable and able to pivot between tasks quickly
✅ Desire for a full-time or part-time career in IT and Healthcare technology
What You Will Be Doing:
Your first couple of weeks we will attend a comprehensive training program to set you up for success providing first-level phone support to healthcare professionals, troubleshooting and resolving system issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide first-level technical support via phone, to healthcare professionals.
+ Learn clinical workflows in leading Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, etc.
+ Troubleshoot software and system issues impacting patient care.
+ Document customer interactions and troubleshooting steps in a ticketing system.
+ Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team when needed.
+ Assist physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in using their systems effectively.
+ Participate in team knowledge sharing and contribute to clinical knowledge bases.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical and clinical applications.
Education & Experience:
✔ Required:
+ Basic technical troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, or application support)
+ Strong customer service experience
✔ Preferred:
+ 1+ years of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or a technical call center environment
+ Associate or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Medical, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
+ Previous experience supporting healthcare professionals, EMR systems, or clinical applications
+ Certifications (e.g., A+, ITIL, ServiceNow, Epic, or other healthcare IT certifications)
