Our client is looking to hire a Helpdesk Technician. The daily responsibilities include logging, tracking, and resolving an average of 25 to 30 customer interactions per day. Specific responsibilities include acting as the customer advocate for problem resolution, demonstrating intermediate-advanced trouble-shooting skills,
handling, diagnosing, and resolving end user calls in a single point of contact help desk environment, and providing assistance to other members of the team.
This work must be documented in a detailed manner in a ticketing tool (ServiceNow). An average call lasts approximately 6 minutes; the first call
resolution rate goal is 80%.
The most common calls are listed below:
1. Microsoft Outlook
2. Active Directory Fileshares
3. VPN
4. Network Troubleshooting
5. Software Installation
Experience:
1-2 years of helpdesk / call center experience
1-2 years of experience working with “help desk ticketing tools” i.e. Service Now, Ivanti
Experience supporting Work from Home end-users
Experience working remotely yet as a team member
Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot common Windows related issues
Working knowledge of Active Directory
Working knowledge of Domain hierarchy
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
Microsoft Office Products including:
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
Troubleshooting VPN Clients
Strong written and oral communication
Ability to learn and troubleshoot custom applications
Ability to search knowledge documentation and past tickets for solutions
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
