As we continue to grow, we currently have a tremendous opportunity for a Service Engineer who is up for the challenge. The Service Engineer is responsible for the successful installation and operation of our PET and PET/CT systems. This is to include systems in our mobile units and at fixed sites. Extensive, short notice travel throughout our North America locations is required.
Essential Functions:
+ Installation, Repair, Preventive Maintenance of PET and PET/CT systems • Travel on short notice US wide!
+ Support technologist/staff on site/trailer via phone and TeamViewer regarding technical issues. Even with early morning calls.
+ Maintain inventories for all parts and Hero Kits in each hub and mobile unit
+ Document all work performed
+ Heavy travel throughout North America, on short notice
+ Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
+ Minimum educational requirement of Associate’s Degree in Electronics or other technical discipline
+ Advanced knowledge in the installation/relocation of medical imaging systems
+ Expert understanding of preventative maintenance and technical fault resolution (troubleshooting)
+ 6+ years of experience servicing medical imaging systems preferably molecular imaging
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical, and building drawings
+ Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record
+ Nationwide travel
+ An expert in documenting our successful repairs, maintenance and installs
+ Knowledge in handling radioactive materials
+ Molecular Imaging experience, desired systems:
+ Siemens ECAT
+ MiE Scintron / PET
+ GE PET/CT (DST, DSTE, 600 & 700 series)
+ Siemens Biograph series
Travel:
Extensive travel is required for this position, including overnight stays.
Coverage area will be throughout North America. May be required to travel same day as notice received.
