Job Description
We are looking for a Resident Service Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Global Techstream diagnostic tool.
ResponsibilitiesSupport ongoing updates of Techstream Software Development and Quality Assurance.Perform vehicle validation to confirm new software features.Evaluate customer TIS validation.Create new features documentation.Judge the priority and impact severity of errors to customers.Communicate and flag severe errors with customers.Validate errors on vehicles or bench equipment.Research cause of errors and communicate with end-users.Determine priority and severity of bugs.Communicate bugs with TMC and/or DNJP.Update status of Bug Reports.Issue Monthly Status Reports on Errors by analyzing source data from various databases, creating and updating spreadsheets, and collaborating with related projects.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingElectricalAutomotiveComputer basicsDiagnosisMechanicalAutomotive manufacturingBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field2-5 years of technical, automotive-related experienceWork Environment
This position offers both onsite and remote opportunities within a manufacturing setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr.
