• * Performs repairs, calibrations and maintenance tasks of routine difficulty.
• * Performs periodic inspection and safety testing of low to medium complexity biomedical instrumentation including but is not limited to:
• Physical Therapy Equipment
• Infusion/Syringe/Feeding Pumps
• Telemetry Systems
• General Lab Equipment (i.e Centrifuges)
• Nurse Call Systems
• General Patient Care Equipment
• * Documents all testing, maintenance and repair work according to departmental procedures. Helps to maintain a current database inventory of hospital biomedical equipment and service histories of equipment
• * Participates in the installation of new equipment.
• * Makes recommendations regarding stocking of parts and acquisition of test equipment
• * Contacts vendors and suppliers as necessary.
• * Performs other job related duties required.
• Performs related duties as required.
• Reports to Clinical Engineering and/or Biomedical Program Manager.

Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent combination of education, required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience, required.
• Knowledge of analog, digital and electromechanical skills and knowledge of test instrumentation.
