How do you excel in this position\n
The Service Estimator enables quality, delivery, and growth according to Boiler Service objectives, to help ensure service agreement growth and that timely and accurate repair quotes help turn around times, customer uptime, and revenue\/profit growth. Position also leads or assists with parts research and sourcing\/vendor selection.\n
What are we looking for:\n\nHigh School Diploma required and at least 5 years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education (technical school) and experience.\nExperience in the construction or HVAC industry required including but not limited to boilers, burners, combustion controls and psychometrics (and related large repair project management)\nDemonstrated mastery-level knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.\nMastery of HVAC&R theory, solid mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair skills required.\nAbility to read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts and blueprints required.\nBe highly motivated and an independent thinker.\nMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt\/be flexible in a changing environment.\nAbility to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.\nOperating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc.\nAbility to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings is required. \n\n
