Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Service Janitor to join our Environmental Service Department team. A Service Janitor is responsible for upkeep of General/Shipping Mezzanine, restrooms, offices, conference rooms and break-room cleaning. Occasionally may be asked to work in other areas as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Cleaning area such as MERA, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, etc.Keeping records of tasksOperate floor machine (if needed) and knowledge of chemicals to use for cleaning.May be asked by Supervisor to do additional tasks in manufacturing or other areas.

Required Qualifications

Basic computer skillsBasic Math skillsHave or able to obtain Scissor Lift LicenseMust be able to drive floor machinesCan work with minimum supervisionWork within a team environmentRecord keeping skillsExcellent safety recordDemonstrate workplace behavior that is consistent with company policies and values

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Industrial cleaning experienceFood processing or food manufacturing experienceFamiliarity with industrial/manufacturing cleaning processes and proceduresBasic knowledge of the function and operation of sanitation equipmentTraining and/or experience in operating lift equipmentRelated training; including blood borne pathogens, confined space, lock out systems, dust hazard, chemical management, etc.
