Responsibilities
Performs duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan TJC and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Works in collaboration with multidisciplinary team of physicians other hospital departments and the Director of the Colorectal Surgery Institute. Is responsible for performance improvement projects. Oversees the development timelines and deliverables monitors progress and problem solves to meet program objectives and obligations. Collects organizes analyzes and reports all necessary data. Maintains confidentiality of patient information at all times. Has advanced colorectal knowledge and proven application of that knowledge. Collaborates with and provides leadership for the Colorectal Surgery Institute area along with other entities within the Colorectal service line to promote excellence in patient care. Also assist in the planning development and implementation of program goals and operations.
Oversees staff for the scheduling charge audit report preparation department audits and reconciliation procedures implementation of new charges as applicable and assistance with revenue-based statistics and related issues for the Colorectal Surgery Institute. Also responsible for supervision and training of staff on clinic processes including charge captures and subsequent charge review post procedure etc. Able to think strategically analyze effectively and use sound judgment. Must be able to access issues to identify the cause and plan ways to resolve issues while maintaining the dignity of issues while maintaining the dignity of others. Qualifications
Minimum 5 year experience healthcare; Hospital 1206D clinical knowledge and/or Colorectal service line or related field. Knowledge of HCPCS and CPT Compliance regulations. Bachelor degree required (prefer Business or Healthcare Administration) Masters degree preferred.Bilingual (Spanish or Armenian/English) preferred.
