Service & Maintenance Technician North Myrtle Beach

Essential Functions:

1. Maintains Facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing and carpentry.

2. Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structure, interiors, shelving, cabinets, etc., cleaning and other basic maintenance.

3. Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.

4. Facilitates repairs by keeping an organized vehicle and maintaining adequate quantities of stock parts thru in-house ordering and contacting service vendors for supplies and materials.

5. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.

6. Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.

7. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

8. Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.

2. 3-5 years experience in the General Maintenance field preferred. HVAC/R, Electrical, and /or Plumbing experience a plus.

3. Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift up 80 lbs.

4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently.

5. Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division which include but are not limited to the geographic areas listed above.
