Full Time Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Full Time Salary: £43,814.50 - £45,993.69 (pro rata for part time hours)

 

Responsibilities

 

About the Role:

As our Service Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic team at the St Thomas Fund, where your leadership will be pivotal in supporting staff to deliver effective, person-centered psycho-social interventions. Your role will involve creating and maintaining a Psychologically Informed Environment, ensuring that every aspect of our service reflects the core values.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Inspire and Support: Lead and motivate your team to provide high-quality care and support, fostering a strength-based recovery culture where every individual is treated with unconditional positive regard.Continuous Improvement: Work closely with staff, clients, and stakeholders to ensure our service continually evolves and improves, meeting all contractual targets and exceeding expectations.Professional Development: Empower your team by supporting their professional growth, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to meet the diverse needs of those we serve.Quality Assurance: As the registered manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), you’ll ensure full compliance with all regulatory frameworks and be responsible for the overall quality and safety of our service.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with multi-agency partners, commissioners, and the local community, ensuring integrated and effective pathways for recovery.Strategic Leadership: Oversee budget management, service protocols, and performance indicators, driving service excellence and ensuring that best practices are shared and celebrated.

About You:

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled professional who is committed to delivering high-quality services and making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. To succeed in this role, you should have:

Deep Understanding: You have a strong grasp of the importance of delivering quality services and understand the needs of individuals who have experienced trauma. Experience in working within Psychologically Informed Environments is a plus.

Relevant Experience: Your background includes working in drug and alcohol services, housing, or related fields. You’re familiar with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and are either in possession of or working towards a recognised qualification in health, social care, or management.

Leadership Abilities: You bring well-developed leadership skills, capable of guiding a team with flexibility and initiative. You’re also experienced in project development and management, recovery coordination, and the delivery of substance misuse treatment interventions.

Staff Development: You’re committed to supporting your team’s growth through structured supervision, appraisal, and learning development processes. You believe in fostering a positive working environment where staff can thrive.

Partnership and Collaboration: You value collaboration and have a track record of working effectively with a range of statutory and voluntary agencies. You understand the importance of partnership in delivering the best possible outcomes for those you support.

Administrative Skills: You have strong administrative, recording, and reporting skills, with an understanding of budgeting and financial targets.

Commitment to Inclusivity: You’re dedicated to promoting diversity and equal opportunities in your work and have a good knowledge of safeguarding procedures for children and adults at risk.

Service User Involvement: You believe in actively involving individuals in their own care, ensuring they have a voice and can contribute to the development of the service.
