Our client, is seeking a Service Manager to join their team. As a Service Manager, you will be part of the team supporting customers. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, be mechanically inclined, and have organization skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Service Manager**
**Location: Appleton, WI**
**Pay Range: $23 - $30**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Write accurate work orders based on immediate evaluation to recommend maintenance and repairs, emphasizing long-term safety and performance.
+ Manage the queue of work orders to ensure a 48-hour turnaround and maintain workflow efficiency.
+ Be able to perform most, if not all, levels of repair and handle minor tasks on the spot whenever possible.
+ Coach and advise other staff on mechanical, procedural, or personal areas of development to foster team growth.
+ Maintain a customer-facing presence to address questions, provide updates, and deliver a positive service experience.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Strong background in coaching and mentoring staff, including leading training sessions and providing constructive feedback.
+ Demonstrated success in handling customer interactions, including resolving complaints and fostering a positive, solution-focused environment.
+ Experience managing shop supplies, service inventory, and conducting cycle counts while maintaining high standards of organization and cleanliness.
