Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and functional Business Analyst with proven expertise in successfully driving projects within the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will act as a critical facilitator between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and delivered effectively within ServiceNow-enabled environments. Key Responsibilities + Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements related to ServiceNow projects. + Solution Development Support: Translate business needs into functional specifications for ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, or custom modules. + Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project deliverables. + Process Analysis and Improvement: Conduct deep dives into business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend ServiceNow configurations or workflows for optimization. + Testing Oversight: Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that all functional requirements are met and new ServiceNow solutions are business-ready prior to go-live. + Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including workflows, use cases, and user stories, to support the delivery of ServiceNow projects. + Training and Support: Provide training to end users on new ServiceNow processes and workflows and troubleshoot issues during adoption phases. Requirements Required Qualifications + Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focusing on ServiceNow projects. + Functional Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (e.g., IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, or CMDB) and experience configuring or optimizing their capabilities from a business perspective. + Business Acumen: Proven ability to understand complex business processes and propose solutions that align with overall organizational needs. + Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into clear explanations for non-technical stakeholders. + Tools: Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Visio, or other project documentation software. + Methodologies: Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments. Preferred Qualifications + ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist). + Background in industries like IT services, healthcare, finance, or government, with a strong understanding of how ServiceNow aligns with industry needs. + Experience designing workflows or integrations with third-party software.
