Job Description

Summary

The Service Porter is an entry-level position where this individual will be responsible in maintaining the dealership’s appearance, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of trafficDrives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentableProvide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnelSupport sales and service departments with various tasks as required (i.e., Replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance tasks)Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Ability to work in the elements (outdoor conditions, as needed)Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPhysically able to drive and move vehiclesMust be able to work weekendsStrong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearanceExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skillsMust be authorized to work in the USAMust be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Qualifications:

Interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industryBasic knowledge of vehicles is a plus

Compensation (Hourly):

$21.00 / hour

*The Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of twenty-one dollars an hour*

FULL TIME5 days a week / 2 days offOff SundaysWeekend availability requiredService Drive Hours:Monday - Friday: 7:30am to 6pmSaturday: 7:30am to 5:30pm
