Service Representative - Insurance Services, H&B
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Service Representative - Insurance Services, H& B in our ROCHESTER, New York office. The role is within the Payroll Services industry and requires skills in Insurance. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining customer records and processing their applications. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process customer applications related to insurance services. • Maintain and update customer records with high accuracy. • Resolve any customer inquiries related to insurance services. • Monitor customer accounts for the health and benefits sector, taking appropriate actions as needed. • Ensure all customer interactions and transactions adhere to insurance regulations and company policies. • Collaborate with the team to enhance customer service strategies. • Act as a liaison between customers and insurance carriers when necessary. • Provide customers with information regarding their insurance coverage and benefits. • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow in the insurance services sector. • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and keeping abreast of industry trends. Requirements • Possess a solid understanding of payroll services and insurance industry • Demonstrable experience in insurance services, particularly H& B • Proficiency in managing complex data and information related to insurance claims • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently • Proven track record in problem-solving and decision-making • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency in using payroll and insurance software • Demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance • Familiarity with latest industry trends and willingness to stay updated • Excellent customer service skills with a customer-centric approach • Ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively and professionally • Relevant certification or degree in Insurance, Finance, or related field is preferred • Willingness to undergo continuous professional development activities.
