Service Sales Representative - Crane & Hoist Services
**SERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE** The Service Sales Representative role works in several different areas for the company. They will: handle new customer development and quoting for inspections and service; work with existing customers to retain and expand business; and work with customers on equipment modernization needs. They will work closely with the Service Coordinator to transfer new customers for service and parts fulfillment. This role is essential in establishing, building and maintaining solid customer relations and support for the branch location. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Service Sales** + Develop new customer accounts and quote all repairs, parts, and new inspections. + Follow up and document all service leads (internet or phone) that come to the branch. + Call on existing customers for additional repair, part supply, or inspection business. + Work with the Service Coordinator on inspection renewal quotes and pricing adjustments. + Maintain electronic quote folders to include quote, scope of work, any workups and customer communications, and hand off to the Service Coordinator when jobs are awarded. + Process new customer requests for crane modernizations and upsell modernization opportunities with existing service accounts. **Inspections** + Pull collected inspection data from system to create an inspection report. + Review inspection report and accurately estimate parts and quantities required to generate a repair quote. + Work with third party partners for pricing and delivery times for required parts. + Deliver completed inspection report and repair estimate to customers in conjunction with Service Coordinator. **CORE SKILLS** + Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions. + Ability to calculate discounts & percentages. + Ability to specify technical products and to provide technical sales information. + Ability to effectively input sales orders quickly and accurately into our internal systems. + Prompt, courteous problem-solving ability. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Sales Experience (preferably in industrial parts and materials environment). + Self-motivated with a drive to complete tasks on time and learn new skills. + Sharp organizational capabilities with high attention to detail. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + Driving and sitting in vehicles, walking and climbing in industrial environments, mixed with periods of sitting at a desk. + Monitor, keyboard, and mouse usage. + May be required to spend time in shop/warehouse environments. + **We are an equal opportunity employer** .
