We actively seek a Service Solution Architect (SSA) for our SAP Product Line. This is a hybrid role, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Position Summary

The SSA will serve as a dedicated SAP pre-sales resource to clients and prospects to support the meeting of revenue targets for SAP third party maintenance services. You will be responsible for articulating the Rimini Street support model and value proposition to clients and prospects. You will aid in the execution of sales strategies and positioning of the SAP product line by producing and delivering customer specific presentations. Additionally, you will play a role in the continued improvement of service offerings and additional value-added services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Developing proposals and presentation content for specific sales opportunities

Presenting our support model and value proposition to prospective customer

Responding to customer questions and inquiries

Partner with the pre-sales Enterprise Architects with regards to our full-service offerings, including managed services, SaaS services etc.

Coordinate globally with cross-functional teams.

First point of contact for renewal support sales

Share product knowledge with the broader SAP team.

Deliver presentations (remotely and in person) with confidence, and answer objections.

Provide detailed Scoping requirements for the support services that will be delivered by Rimini Street

Manage the internal sales process to close the deal.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate may be called upon from time to time to contribute to other company wide initiatives in support of the growth and profitability of the SAP product line.

Travel as required to support SAP product line sales & initiatives.

Experience   

10 years’ experience in consulting, delivery, and pre-sales support.

Extensive experience in a Pre-Sales Engineering Role or Pre-Sales Solution Architect role, working within the SAP Applications ecosystem – Software and/or Services, supporting a Geographic or Industry Focused Sales Organization.

Exposure to Financial Services (Insurance & Banks), Utilities, Public Sector, Professional Services and Manufacturing industries.

Extensive SAP Sales, Consulting & Delivery experience.

Expertise in defining enterprise architecture roadmaps, solution design and delivery.

Expertise in drafting RFI/RFP response, building proof of concepts & system demo.

Proven experience in a “consultative selling” environment with a history of working in a global, matrixed organization.

Experience in creating proposals for Managed Services and estimating staffing and costs

Experience supporting a team of SAP Sales Reps during the sales cycle and the proven track record contributing to the sales process to close deals.

Proven track record for making quota for the last 5 years as a Solution Architect or Sales Engineer.

Experience with full lifecycle software implementations.

Skills   

Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation) in English

Ability to work independently as required based on prospect needs

Strong speaking skills (telephone, onsite, conference or seminar)

Strong documentation skills (Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Experience with CRM systems, especially SalesForce.com

Experience with understanding and selling Managed Services

Disciplined to perform in a hybrid environment

Location 

Preferably located in the Sao Paulo area, hybrid

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from accredited institution
