Are you a self-motivated individual whose experience and
education have provided you with the tools to work as a Commercial Field
Service Technician? If so, then this may be the perfect employment opportunity
for you. This opportunity is for a position with a local Owner Operator of
McDonald’s franchised restaurants.
Primarily responsible for the diagnosis of equipment failures
and as necessary the ordering and installation of replacement parts. In
addition to this, Service Technicians may be responsible for the installation
of new equipment and will participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
Requirements:
Use troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to install,
repair and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration and/or HVAC
equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude including electronics, gas, and refrigeration.
Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified. Must be highly safety
conscious. Desired candidate will possess excellent organizational skills while
being a motivated self-starter, and able to follow through on duties and
assignments with minimal supervision. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying. Requires frequent walking, standing,
driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting,
and turning for most of the workday Must be able to use hands for fine
manipulation of hand tools. When not otherwise engaged in support of
equipment services, the tech may assist in other maintenance work throughout
the organization involving manual labor as well as the performance of skilled
and semi-skilled tasks.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
A valid driver's license along with an acceptable driving record
Strong mechanical aptitude including electronics, gas, and refrigeration.
Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
Must be highly safety conscious.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
Starting at $30.00/hour
