Position will support the salesforce in execution of Healthcare’s electronic Hand Hygiene Program (HHP). This includes customer trials, system implementations, scheduled and emergency service visits as well as on-going program/product maintenance activities.  The role requires a solid understanding of basic install techniques and tools.  This team member will work closely with the Master Technicians and Regional Service Supervisors. They will be responsible for managing contractors while onsite and communicating with internal and external customer.   

Though primarily supporting HHP, this role may be called on to support other field initiatives from time to time including but not limited to hand hygiene and environmental hygiene projects. 

Minimum 50-75% travel local and out of state. Must live near major airport (No weekend travel).

What You Will Do:

Assist Master Technicians with the installation and maintenance of Ecolab’s proprietary cloud-based RF mesh networkTest and troubleshoot electronic devices as needed in the fieldRead blueprints, schematics, and drawingParticipate in on-site surveys and dispenser counts prior to HHP installEnsure proper start and completion of HHP job while contractors are on site included but not limited to new installs, punch list, and service visits.Assist the field sales team and customer with basic understanding of system components and functions.  This includes primary healthcare stakeholders such as Infection Control, Facilities Management, BioMed, and nursing leaders and staff.Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plansManage outside contractors while on site ensuring customer satisfaction and completion of jobResponsible for correct installation and validation practices of all proprietary hardware componentsIdentify and solve customer problems through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Respond to emergency service visits in person and assist the sales team or service team virtually (within normal working hours)Act as technical resource for field team and customers, constantly be looking for ways to improve process for installations and equipment.Maintain sound working relationships and liaison with customer's personnel to maintain the image of Ecolab and its programsExecute timely and detailed records of service visits, including technical problems encountered and parts employed to correct those problemsProvide outstanding customer service to internal and external customersWork with a team to achieve project milestones

Position Details:

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a weekWeekly overnight travel

Minimum Qualifications:

2 years of field service experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentWorking knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.Working knowledge of iOS (Apple) devices and applicationsComputer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint, iOS devices Basic data analysis skillsExcellent organization and communication skills; detail orientedSelf-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervisionCritical thinking and situational awareness.Ability to pivot situation and plans on short notice Strong customer service skills: proven ability to interface positively and professionally with internal and external customersAbility to obtain necessary credentials to access healthcare facilities, including but not limited to background check and required vaccinations

Physical Demands:

Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, and working under a hospital bed in an active hospital setting.Must be able to abide by hospital PPE requirements

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $50,600-$76,000. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
