Service Technician
Summary The Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Responsibilities Responsible for testing fire alarm and Clean Agent Suppression systems including initiating devices, notification appliances, and control panels. Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of Fire Alarm and Clean Agent suppression systems. Responsible for creating reports for testing and services. Inspect, and repair heat detectors and sprinkler heads. Review electrical layout blueprints. Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years’ experience with the installation of fire alarm systems. Mechanical aptitude, preferred. Basic and advanced math skills, required. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership abilities Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail. OSHA certification preferred. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
