**Service Technician** **Job Description:** Join Our Team as a Field Service Technician! By working with us, you’ll engage with the latest technologies and pioneering, sustainable innovations. **Position Overview:** As a Field Service Technician, you will be based in our store in Brighton, CO, and travel to customer sites within the region. This hybrid position means you won’t need to come into the store every day. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Shop Training:** Begin your journey in the shop before transitioning to an independent service technician role. + **Fleet Maintenance:** Maintain the fleet in the field, ensuring all equipment is in top condition. + **Equipment Preparation:** Wash machinery, change filters, perform oil changes, and prepare equipment for rental. + **Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:** Identify and diagnose issues with malfunctioning equipment. + **Field Repairs:** Repair down equipment at various customer locations. + **Preventative Maintenance:** Conduct preventative maintenance on compressors and machinery, both in the field and within your territory. + **Documentation:** Document all work performed daily using company-provided hardware and software. + **Process Optimization:** Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines. **Skills and Qualifications:** + 2+ years of industrial mechanic experience + Expertise in Diesel and Electrical systems (up to 4160 mid voltage, 480v) + Maintenance and repair skills + Experience with overhauls and compressors (a plus) **Work Environment:** + Mid-sized shop environment with a smaller service team + On-call for emergencies approximately once every 2-4 months + 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM **Compensation:** + Pay based on experience: **Apprentice: $25-30/hr** + Service Tech: **$32-38/hr (could go $40+ with 10-15 years of direct experience)** **Required Tools:** + 1 metric set and 1 imperial set + Basic tools for Field Service Technician include: Standard & Metric socket set + Assorted ratchets & extensions + Combination wrenches + Assortment of screwdrivers, pliers, needle nose, channel locks + Wire cutters, wire strippers, wire crimpers + 3/8’’ & 1/4’’ impact with drill bits + Pick set for removing o-rings and hoses + Scrapers for removing old gaskets and decals + Crescent wrenches (6’’ – 12’’) + Pry bars **Benefits:** + 401k with matching + Dental insurance + Vision insurance + Health insurance + Paid time off + Paid holidays **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
