**Job Title: HVAC Service Technician** **Job Description** Join a team building & servicing the leading innovative product that is the future of electric motors for data centers! We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide exceptional mechanical support to our customers. You will perform mechanical bearing replacements, troubleshooting, and repair of Integrated Motor & VFD products at customer sites. You will document your work, provide technical feedback to internal teams, and develop relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Conduct on-site repairs to minimize customer downtime (specifically, replacing bearings on all motors) - Document all troubleshooting and repair activities - Provide detailed service reports that support department metrics Long-term Potential Responsibilities as the role progresses: - Install and commission integrated motor and VFD products at customer sites - Conduct on-site troubleshooting and testing of integrated motor and VFD - Provide technical feedback to internal teams, including sales, product management, operations, and engineering - Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction **Hard Skills** + Mechanically inclined + Electrical troubleshooting knowledge (how to check voltage with a meter) + Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds, do heavy labor & work in non-climate controlled environments + Comfortable on scissor lifts or man lifts **Soft Skills** + Ownership attitude/high initiative + Customer interfacing experience or ability **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 7 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position that travels between different customer sites from Chicago and Salt Lake City **Work Environment** Must have quick and easy access to an airport to fly out with quick notice if needed High-initiative, high work ethic team - and good people Technicians will be home every weekend but travel 100% during the week or be present at the job site in the market needed (primarily Salt Lake City or Chicago) Techs must be open to working varying hours, mostly during day shift hours, but at times this could fluctuate to afternoon/evening or on call This will include working both inside and outside of facilities, even on a flat roof of a commercial building At Corporate Headquarters in Round Rock (where some training/visits will take place): Clean & air-conditioned environment Nice break room with free coffee, refrigerated beverages, and snacks Friendly culture of passionate people who have a sincere interest in what they do Ability to promote from within and apply interests and skills to higher-level processes & positions (such as testing, leading, engineering, etc.) **If you are interested please apply below!** **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
