**Field Service Technician** Currently hiring a Field Service Technician in the Frankfort, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Pay:** $28-$40/HR. Will occasionally work overtime. **Shift:** 1st shift. Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Travel: 20-30% -Domestic travel(1 overnight stay) 4-6 days a month. -Projects(10 a year): 1 week long trips...Mon-Fri and come home on the weekend. -Mostly Canada and US...other countries like Asia, Ireland, etc. **Job Description:** Will be responsible for building machines and troubleshooting customers' machinery. This role requires expertise in wiring electrical panels, reading electrical prints, and troubleshooting machinery using PLCs. The technician will be trained on the machines they are building and will communicate with customers to provide technical assistance. This position involves domestic travel for customer support. + Build and troubleshoot customers' machinery. + Wire electrical panels and read electrical prints (expert level, European AutoCAD blueprints). + Troubleshoot machinery using PLCs. + Communicate with customers to provide technical assistance. + Use various manuals, drawings, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical equipment. + Coordinate parts, documents, and follow-up resulting from service calls, emails, and field trips. + Travel domestically to customer locations 4-6 days per month. + Act as a contact for service calls, emails, and customer visits. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Experience in troubleshooting machinery. + Experience with machine rebuilds and assembly. + Expertise in PLCs. + Ability to wire electrical panels. + Good driving record and a valid passport. + Travel experience. + Experience in GMP or food industry. + 60/40 mechanical/electrical skills. + Service experience. **Work Environment:** Domestic travel 20-30% of the time, involving 4-6 days a month and occasional week-long projects.
