**Job Title: Service Technician** **Job Description** Our client has an immediate opening in the service department for a Field Service Helper/Assistant. This role involves assisting a Field Service Technician with preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial compressors. General responsibilities include running parts/tools, lifting pumps, and performing basic mechanical work. Additional tasks include parts pick-ups, customer deliveries, and in-shop preventive maintenance on compressors. **Responsibilities** + Assist Field Service Technician with maintenance tasks + Run parts and tools to needed locations + Lift and transport pumps and other equipment + Perform basic mechanical work + Pick up parts and deliver them to customers + Conduct preventive maintenance on compressors in the shop **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined + Clean DMV record + Client-facing demeanor + High School diploma or equivalent + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills + Good customer service skills + Valid driver's license and clean record + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read blueprints/schematics + Industrial equipment maintenance experience + Electrical troubleshooting experience + Experience with vacuums or industrial pumps + HVAC experience **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the trade field who is mechanically inclined and good with tools, but may not have a lot of experience.
