Job Description
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for putting aircraft refueling equipment in service, troubleshooting, and servicing trucks with warranty issues, as well as making design changes in the field. You will also assist customers with technical issues, support engineering and technical teams, and train customers' technicians on equipment control systems. In the office, you will process part sales and handle warranty calls.
ResponsibilitiesPut new and used refueling equipment in service at customers' locations.Inspect equipment before loading with fuel.Load fuel, perform bottom loading shutdown, and pre-check tests.Check control systems including interlocks, fueling pressure, electrical, and air.Inspect truck chassis, tank mounting, and equipment.Provide a completed and thorough in-service report form.Travel to job sites to troubleshoot warranty issues on equipment and perform necessary repairs.Train refueler technicians on fueling pressure control tests, electrical/PLC troubleshooting, air system controls, chassis maintenance, truck procedures, and safety.Take and process part sales calls.Open, close, and maintain warranty cases.Manage RMAs with vendors.Work with vendors on ordering parts for service.Take calls from customers and assist them with technical issues.Assist Sales, Engineering, and Technical Support teams with projects as needed.Additional responsibilities may be added as customer or company needs change.Essential SkillsTechnical knowledge of all parts and systems on a refueler.Knowledge of Aviation Fuel Quality Standards (JIG, CSA-B836, A4A-103, NFPA 407, etc.).Ability to troubleshoot equipment over the phone, via email, or in the field.Automotive/mechanical experience.Knowledge in electrical, hydraulics, air & fuel pressure control valves, PLCs.Ability to train refueler technicians.Excellent interpersonal communication skills (customer service oriented).Ability to work independently and under pressure.Microsoft Office skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of service technician experience on heavy equipment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position requires extensive travel, with expectations to travel at least 3 to 5 times each month. While at the office, you will take service technical calls, process parts sales, and collaborate with the Technical Service Department. The work environment includes a clean warehouse/manufacturing environment where you will be applying decals onto trucks with large tanks attached.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
