**Job Title: Service Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. This position involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks. The dock equipment includes mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The role also involves working with electrical systems ranging from 110 volts to 480 volts. Interaction with customers to understand and address equipment issues is a key part of the job. While mechanical repairs on forklifts are a minor aspect of the role, they are necessary.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install and repair industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks.
+ Troubleshoot and repair dock equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Perform electrical work including motor controls up to 480 volts.
+ Interact with customers to understand and resolve issues with equipment.
+ Conduct minor mechanical repairs on forklifts.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
+ Use hand tools and welding equipment as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to install, wire, and fabricate components.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Capability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
+ Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 feet.
+ Valid driver's license.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience with field service and preventative maintenance.
+ Ability to represent the company well in client interactions.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes industrial maintenance facilities and docks. This role involves daily travel and working outdoors much of the time. Technicians may need to use ladders and lift heavy equipment, with lifters and hoists available to assist. The company truck is for work use only and must be maintained by the technician. The company prides itself on being family-oriented.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00

--They accrue Paid time off - every 30 days they work they earn half a day of vacation
--They accrue 2 weeks after their 1st year
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Bowling Green,KY.
