**Job Title: Service Technician** **Job Description** The Service Technician will receive daily work instructions and work orders that will outline their day. The technician will be responsible for preparing trailers and units for delivery, maintaining the units and furniture, and loading and unloading furniture onto the units. This role requires the use of hand and power tools to make repairs and service the units. Additional duties include basic grounds maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, documenting work throughout the day, reporting issues, and maintaining a safety mindset. **Responsibilities** + Prepare trailers and units for delivery + Maintain units and furniture + Load and unload furniture onto the units + Utilize hand and power tools to make repairs and service the units + Perform basic grounds maintenance + Have a high attention to detail and document work throughout the day + Diagnose and troubleshoot issues + Report issues promptly + Maintain a safety mindset throughout the day **Essential Skills** + Experience in production + Proficiency with hand tools + Experience in carpentry and assembly + Ability to use power tools + Mechanically inclined + Ability to read and interpret work orders + Detail-oriented + Ability to lift 50lbs+ 1 - 3 years of construction experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel-toed boots required **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with performance reviews that can lead to pay increases of $1/hr-$3/hr upon becoming permanent. Steel toes are required. Technicians will work in and out of the warehouse and in outdoor elements to load and unload trailers. The standard work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional work until 5:00 PM and rare Saturday shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
