Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

The Service Technician will receive daily work instructions and work orders that will outline their day. The technician will be responsible for preparing trailers and units for delivery, maintaining the units and furniture, and loading and unloading furniture onto the units. This role requires the use of hand and power tools to make repairs and service the units. Additional duties include basic grounds maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, documenting work throughout the day, reporting issues, and maintaining a safety mindset.

This is a contract-to-hire position with performance reviews that can lead to pay increases of $1/hr-$3/hr upon becoming permanent. Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled with 25-35 employees in production. Steel toes are required. Technicians will work in and out of the warehouse and in outdoor elements to load and unload trailers. The standard work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional work until 5:00 PM and rare Saturday shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
