**Aerotek Hiring For The Position Of Service Technicians in Spokane, Washington** **Pay Rate:** + Up to $35 per hour, depending on experience. **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Service Technician with outstanding diagnosing capabilities and mechanical skills. You will be responsible for identifying and fixing issues with incorrectly assembled trucks, particularly focusing on compressors, hydraulics, and wiring harnesses. Additionally, you will assist in the production, assembly, and maintenance of custom mechanics trucks, lube trucks, service bodies, truck-mounted cranes, air compressors, platforms, vans, and lift gates. **Responsibilities:** + Diagnose and repair issues with compressors, hydraulics, and wiring harnesses. + Assist in the production, assembly, and maintenance of custom vehicles and equipment. + Install vehicle service beds, vehicle wiring, troubleshoot and install hydraulic components, and perform custom metal fabrication. + Perform vehicle inspections, including DOT and annual boom inspections. + Physically perform job duties, including maneuvering under and around vehicles, completing welding and wiring tasks, and lifting 40+ pounds. **Essential Skills:** + Basic chassis wiring: tail, marker, stop and turn lights, 6 & 7 way plugs, brake controllers. + Installation skills for flatbeds, service bodies, lift axles, crane & crane kits, dump bodies, lube systems. + Hydraulic skills, including the installation of PTO, hydraulic pumps, and 3-line hydraulic systems. + Vehicle wiring, hydraulics, fabrication, vehicle/trailer wiring, wire feed/MIG welding, general repair, diagnostics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Welding and fabricating skills (Mig, wire-feed, air arc, plasma cutter). + Ability to fabricate metal ranging from 10ga to 1 inch. + Experience with electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and using hand tools. + AA degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience in diagnosing and repairing custom outfits of hydraulics, electrical wiring harnesses, and compressors. **Work Environment:** + Deadline-intensive industrial (vehicle shop) environment. + Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. + Additional and flexible hours may be expected. + Requires a strong work ethic and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks. **Job Type & Location:** + Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
