Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description

We are looking to bring on Service Technicians to our team. Our company offers storage units to various construction companies in the Bay Area. We provide mobile office spaces to construction companies. The ideal candidate will have experience in refurbishing homes, building homes, and possess skills in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. The main role involves using these skill sets to ensure the mobile units and offices are repaired, cleaned, and ready to be shipped out.

ResponsibilitiesMeet with the team and be assigned various tasks for the day.Work on the units or yard projects, which can serve as training to gain hands-on experience.Clean, sweep, and hose out all dirtiness left prior to units being returned.Replace tiles/epoxy flooring and ensure floors are clean and ready.Repair drywall holes, patch and paint after holes are patched up.Replace lightbulbs, locks, blinds, and door handles.Document work after completion and verify anything that requires additional work.Essential SkillsAt least a year of experience with construction/laborer work.Experience with safety protocols.Ability to follow rules and work in a team environment.Experience with power tools or eagerness to learn and take on-the-job training.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in home remodels, home refurbishing, new construction, and service work.Hands-on work in construction.Experience with cleaning supplies, paint and painting materials, dry wall putty, and various power tools (e.g., power drills, saws).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Service Technicians will be working in the yard on the mobile units. The role is labor-intensive and involves working both independently and as part of a team to complete refurbishing units. Technicians will not need to visit client sites. The environment primarily consists of outdoor yard work. During extremely hot weather, extended breaks and plenty of water will be provided to ensure the team's comfort.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Martin, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
