Job Title: Service Technician ($23-$26/hr)

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing the Central KY area for approximately 50-75 clients. Your duties will include installing, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead doors and loading docks for commercial and industrial customers. You will travel to site locations for service in a company truck (driving check for DOT required after 90 days). Typical hours are 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with occasional weekend work.

ResponsibilitiesEvaluate faulty equipment and perform tasks necessary to ensure proper operation.Maintain records of all service work and repairs performed within the electronic service record.Work with the Operations Manager to maximize labor revenue and efficiency.Maintain a clean driving record and drive safely from customer to customer.Communicate with the parts and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.Perform work in a variety of environments.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (motor controls, 480V) in commercial/industrial settings.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and represent the company positively.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious service work experience is ideal.Preferred experience with overhead door and/or loading dock service.Looking for someone with lead experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role involves daily travel and working outdoors much of the time. It includes physical tasks such as climbing ladders up to 40 feet and lifting up to 100 lbs (with the help of lifters and hoists). The company truck must be maintained and cannot be taken home for personal use. The team at the Georgetown location consists of about 10 people, with approximately 120 employees in the region.

The pay range for this position is $15080.00 - $20000.00/yr.
